Privacy Policy
This policy explains what ScheduleBot processes, why it is needed and what choices Discord server administrators have.
1. Controller
ScheduleBot is operated by Lenyo Productions. Privacy requests can be sent through the Lenyo Productions Discord support server.
2. Data ScheduleBot processes
ScheduleBot stores only the information needed to provide schedule synchronization:
- Discord server and selected channel identifiers;
- the Twitch channel name connected through
/setup; - the language selected for the Discord server;
- identifiers of bot-created messages or scheduled events needed to update or remove them;
- public Twitch schedule information such as stream title, category, start and end time, recurrence and schedule segment identifier.
Command interactions are processed to perform the requested action. ScheduleBot does not intentionally store message content, passwords, authentication codes, payment information or Discord bot tokens belonging to users.
3. Purposes and legal basis
Data is processed to deliver the service requested by server administrators, keep Discord schedules synchronized with Twitch and protect the service from errors or abuse. Where the GDPR applies, processing is based on performance of the requested service and the legitimate interest in operating a reliable and secure bot.
4. Sharing and service providers
Information is exchanged with Discord and Twitch through their APIs. Operational data is hosted by Wispbyte, the infrastructure provider used to run ScheduleBot. Data is not sold and is not used for advertising.
5. Retention
Setup data is kept while the Twitch-to-Discord connection remains active. Administrators can remove a connection with /unlink. Event mappings are removed when no longer needed for synchronization. Data may also be deleted when the bot leaves a server, the service is discontinued or deletion is required by law or platform policy.
6. Security
Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect stored identifiers and service credentials. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Users should never share passwords, bot tokens, backup codes or authenticator codes with ScheduleBot or support staff.
7. Your choices and rights
Server administrators can view configured connections with /list, remove them with /unlink and remove the bot from a server. Depending on applicable law, individuals may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability and may object to processing. They may also contact their local data protection authority.
8. Children
ScheduleBot is not designed to collect personal information from children. Use of Discord and Twitch remains subject to each platform’s age requirements.
9. Policy updates
This policy may be updated when features, providers or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
