Answers to the most common questions about ScheduleBot.
Why isn’t my schedule showing?
Run /list to check your connection. Confirm that ScheduleBot can view the selected channel, send messages and embed links. Your streams need to be saved in your Twitch schedule.
Do I need to refresh changes manually?
No. ScheduleBot checks your Twitch schedule automatically, normally about every ten seconds. This includes existing streams, changed times or titles, and removed entries.
Why does a finished stream still appear?
A stream is marked “Ended” when its planned end time has passed. It stays visible for the rest of its starting day. At midnight in Europe/Berlin, that day leaves the schedule and the next day is added.
Why hasn’t a Discord event appeared yet?
Events are created about 30 minutes before the planned start. Check that the bot has Create Events and Manage Events permissions. It won’t create a new event for a stream that has already started.
What happens when I remove a stream on Twitch?
The next successful check updates the schedule and removes the linked Discord event. Merely marking a recurring stream as cancelled is not yet handled separately.
Why do times look different for other members?
Discord shows stream times in each member’s local time zone. The seven calendar days in the schedule use Europe/Berlin.
How do I change the language?
Use /language and choose a language. English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch and Japanese are supported. You need Manage Server permission.
Can I connect more than one Twitch channel?
Yes. Run /setup again with a different Twitch channel. You can select the same Discord channel or a different one.
What should I do if ScheduleBot is offline?
Check the status on Home. The bot may be receiving an update or experiencing a problem. Please check back shortly; you don’t need to remove your setup.
